BODYSHAKE Nutrition are a German-based weight-lifting supplement brand that sells its own unique blends of products like; protein powder, creatine, EAAs, pre-workout and rice pudding. 

Their blends of products contain low sugar content,  only high-quality ingredients, and are 100% vegan. Best of all, their prices are very competitive. 

The Problem - Poor past performance

Like many businesses that come to Growf, they had a poor experience with a previous agency that failed to deliver results. A review of their Google Ads and Google Merchant Centre revealed several issues:

  • No Product Feed Optimisation: Their Merchant Centre had poorly structured titles, descriptions, and lacked key attributes such as weight, flavour, and price per kg.
  • Multiple Conversion Actions: The previous agency did not optimise campaigns for a single purchase conversion, instead using over five different conversions, resulting in unclear bidding strategies.
  • Poor Account Structure: The campaigns targeted only bottom-of-funnel users, missing a full-funnel approach for long-term growth.
  • Weak Pmax Structure: Pmax campaigns lacked organisation based on product demand, limiting their effectiveness.
  • Limited Targeting: Pmax didn’t utilise first-party data from Shopify, and the unoptimised product feed hindered targeting in “keywordless” campaigns like Pmax and demand gen.

How We Solved It

Our results

In the first month of running new Growf we managed to:

  • Increase ROAS by 139% 
  • Increase purchases by 167% 
  • Increase revenue by 198% 

All from only 24% more spend. 

Then in the second month, we scaled spend by 70% which resulted in:

  • Increasing purchases by 100% 
  • Increasing revenue by 54% 

This was all done whilst only reducing ROAS by 9%, which is pretty impressive with such aggressive scaling of spend.
